Pour 1 litre of the Saniflo descaler into the toilet bowl and leave for 2 hours

Flush the toilet NB: if the toilet/Saniflo is already full of water, DON’T flush the toilet or
it could cause it to overflow
Step 4
Leave for 2 hours
Step 5
Reconnect the power supply to the Saniflo and it should already be at activation level so
will activate as normal
Step 6
Flush a second time to clear any remaining residue
Step 7
Repeat this process every 1-2 months in very hard water areas, 3-6 months in soft water areas
How to Descale a Grey Water Pump
The instructions are slightly different for Grey Water Pumps:
Step 1
Disconnect the electrical supply to the Saniflo pump to prevent it from activating
Step 2
For grey water products such as Sanishower+ or Sanivite+, pour 1 litre of descaler down
the wash basin/sink
Step 3
Leave for a minimum of 2 hours
Step 4
Reconnect the power supply to the Saniflo and it should already be at activation level
so will activate as normal, if it doesn’t activate straight away then run the shower or tap
until you hear the unit activate
Step 5
Keep the tap running until you hear the unit operate another 2-3 times and then switch
off tap
Step 6
Repeat this process every 1-2 months in very hard water areas, 3-6 months in soft water areas
