SFA Group EcoVadis Sustainability Rating

Sustainability is an important part of SFA Group and SFA Saniflo’s long-term approach to responsible business. To help measure our progress, identify opportunities for improvement and strengthen our Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices, SFA Group has participated in the EcoVadis sustainability assessment process since 2021.

Rather than viewing sustainability assessment as a one-off achievement, we use EcoVadis as an external benchmark that helps us evaluate our approach and continue making progress across key areas of our business.

Latest EcoVadis recognition

SFA Group received an EcoVadis Bronze medal in its 2026 assessment, with an overall sustainability score of 64/100. The latest assessment continues a programme of EcoVadis evaluation that SFA Group began in 2021.

SFA Group's EcoVadis assessment history

What is the EcoVadis sustainability rating?

EcoVadis assesses the quality of a company’s sustainability management system, examining its policies, actions and results across four key themes:

  • Environment
  • Labour and Human Rights
  • Ethics
  • Sustainable Procurement

The assessment provides organisations with a structured way to understand their sustainability performance, recognise areas of strength and identify opportunities for further improvement.

For SFA Group, this external assessment provides an important reference point as we continue developing and strengthening our CSR strategy.

A long-term commitment to continuous CSR improvement

Sustainability is a journey rather than a single milestone.

Since beginning our EcoVadis assessment journey, SFA Group has continued to develop its policies, processes and actions. Successive assessments provide us with the opportunity to measure progress while highlighting where further action can have the greatest impact.

Our focus is not simply on achieving a particular rating. The greater value lies in using the assessment process to support meaningful, measurable and ongoing improvements throughout our organisation and value chain.

Where SFA Group is focusing its sustainability efforts

Our sustainability approach encompasses the four principal areas considered within the EcoVadis assessment.

Environment

We continue to work on reducing the environmental impact associated with our activities. This includes efforts relating to our carbon footprint, the responsible use of resources and materials, waste reduction and greater consideration of circularity throughout the lifecycle of our products.

Labour and Human Rights

Our people are fundamental to the success of SFA Group. We continue to develop policies and practices designed to support employees, encourage professional development and training, and promote responsible working practices throughout our organisation.

Ethics

Responsible business conduct is an essential part of sustainable growth. SFA Group continues to strengthen its approach to ethics, governance and responsible decision-making, helping ensure that appropriate standards are embedded across the organisation.

Sustainable Procurement

Our sustainability responsibilities extend beyond our own operations. We are working to strengthen the consideration of environmental, social and ethical criteria within procurement and to encourage responsible practices throughout our supplier relationships and wider value chain.

Why the EcoVadis assessment matters to SFA Group

External sustainability assessment gives us a valuable perspective on our progress.

For our customers, partners, suppliers and other stakeholders, it provides greater visibility of the management systems and actions underpinning our CSR commitments. For SFA Group, it provides a framework through which we can continue to evaluate our performance and identify priorities for future action.

Most importantly, EcoVadis provides another tool for turning sustainability commitments into an ongoing programme of improvement.

Building on our progress

We are proud of the progress SFA Group has made through successive EcoVadis assessments, but sustainability does not have a finishing line.

Expectations, technologies and best practices continue to evolve, and so must we.

We will therefore continue to assess our performance, strengthen our policies and implement practical actions across our operations and supply chain. EcoVadis forms part of this wider commitment to building a more responsible, resilient and sustainable business.
